OUR STORY

Camana Veglia Restaurant was founded by Sandro Mottini in 1972 in Livigno, in the heart of the Italian Alps. You can see him in the picture here when he delivered bread in Livigno, dreaming about his future restaurant.

During the years, Sandro Mottini chose many different original pieces of furniture from Livigno’s mountain huts and brought them back to life in the Camana Veglia restaurant. Designed for an elegant and charming food experience, this unique restaurant offers a menu that exalts the tradition of the mountain flavors all year long.

Mattia Mottini & Silvia Curti

Mattia Mottini and his wife, Silvia Curti, since this Summer 2022, have taken over the reins of the Camana Veglia Hotel and Restaurant, which for 30 years was run by his sister, Carla Mottini. The goal has remained unchanged: to offer a holiday experience to guests with a sense of welcome that comes from the heart, and to offer an intriguing Gourmet experience.

This is the guarantee of a unique holiday and food experience in the alpine mountain environments, where every single detail is well-finished for you and your relatives.

Mattia and Silvia, together with the Camana Veglia Staff, are happy to welcome you in both summer and winter season in Livigno.
